Protein extraction from cold‐pressed hempseed press cake: From laboratory to pilot scale, Helstad, 2022, Journal of Food Science, Wiley
Industrial hempseed, hereafter referred to simply as hempseed (harvested in 2016 and 2018 at 55.6361 N, 13.5197 E), and cold-pressed HPC were kind gifts of Mossagården EKO AB (Veberöd, Sweden). The HPC was a byproduct of Mossagården's hempseed oil production.
In general, THC should be no problem for cold-pressed hempseed oil, but it is not always so, as it can be transferred to hempseed oil during the crushing process. If THC is found in the oil, it may predominantly result from the external contact of the seed hulls with cannabinoid- containing resins in the bracts and leaves of the plant.
Extrusion of high-moisture meat analogues from hempseed protein concentrate and oat fibre residue
The hempseed press cake was a kind gift from the company Gunnarshögs Gård AB (Hammenhög, Sverige), an industrial producer of cold-pressed hempseed oil. Protein extraction from hempseed press cake was performed at Lund University on the pilot scale according to Helstad et al. (2022) .
650 g byproduct, that is, the press cake, is generated from. 1 kg of cold-pressed industrial hempseed, which is referred. to as hempseed press cake (HPC). HPC contains high. amounts of protein (30

In the study by Östbring et al. (2020), the protein yield from cold-pressed rapeseed press cake was reported to be 45% under alkali extraction conditions with a nonconstant pH of 10.5 at RT for 4 h. When using the same condi-tions in the current study, the yield from cold-pressed HPC was only 35.0%.
Can agronomic practices and cold-pressing extraction parameters affect phenols and polyphenols content in hempseed oils

In this study, 27 market and edible cold-pressed oils from 10 different oilseeds were analysed. Oxidative stability and the chemical composition of oils were evaluated. The oils were investigated for their primary quality, fatty acid composition, total phenolic content and antioxidant activity. Rancimat and pressure differential scanning calorimetry (PDSC) were used to assess oils oxidative
Comparative Evaluation of the Nutrients, Phytochemicals, and Antioxidant Activity of Two Hempseed Oils and Their Byproducts after Cold Pressing
2.1. Quality Parameters of Hempseed Oil The nutritional features of the HSOs were evaluated by checking the quality parameters reported in Table 1.Both HSOs showed very interesting values with low acidity (≤0.65%) and peroxide index (≤1.88 mg O 2 /Kg) values, as well as dienes and trienes content (K 232 ≤ 0.75 and K 270 ≤ 0.18, respectively) which allowed us to calculate a very low ΔK
