Optimized extraction and quality evaluation of Niger seed oil via
To find the optimized conditions of oil extraction from Niger seeds with the use of microwave‐PEF in the range of applied independent variables, (microwave time of 0–200 s, PEF intensity at 0–5 kV/cm and press rotational speed ranged from 11–57 rpm), the targets were considered as the maximum oil extraction efficiency and total phenolic compounds content, and the minimum acidity and PVs.
1. Capacity: 150-200kg/h. This 6YL-95A combined oil press machine is suitable for medium-small scale oil mill. 2. Power: 7.5kw. It can customized according to the customer needs. 3. Voltage: 380V. It supports three phase.
Niger Seed Oil Mill Plant, Oil Expeller
The Niger seed contains 40 – 45 % oil content and double pressing is required to extract maximum oil, 9 – 11 % residual oil is left in the Niger meal which is an excellent source of Animal Feed. The Niger Seeds are conditioned using Steam in a Vertical Cooking Kettle.
The two traditional methods to extract oil involve either the use of a mechanical press (hot and cold pressing) or a solvent. When the process is mechanical the oilseeds are heated (100 degrees) and
Improving the quality of used frying niger seed oil with
To determine the minimum concentration of the adsor- V ¼ Volume (mL) of potassium hydroxide bents improving the quality of the used oil, the selected adsorbents were C ¼ Concentration of potassium hydroxide (0.5M) mixed with the used oil in w/v ratios of (2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10.0, 12.5) % at 56.1 ¼ Molar mass (g/mole) of potassium hydroxide 150 C
The physicochemical characteristics of the extracted niger seed oils were affected by the extraction methods and polarity of the extraction solvent used. The appearance of cold-pressed niger seed oil was golden orange clear liquid while the hexane-extracted oil was a golden yellow liquid with slight haze and the ethanol-extracted oil appeared
Newly Upgraded 6YL-Series Oil Press
The upgraded oil press machine is equipped with more durable high-performance component materials. The press barrel are made of the manganese titanium alloy steel (20CrMnTi),with a rigorous carburization process to improve wear resistance and service life. This improvement allows our new machine to process 200,000 kg more oilseeds than previous
implications for the quest for durable peace in the Niger Delta. Overall, it seeks to broaden our understanding of the complexity of environmen-tal problems and social conflict in oil-rich Niger Delta. The conflicts in the Niger Delta remain intractable, raising serious issues of security and the legitimacy of traditional and state institutions.
Lipid Classes and Subclasses of Cold‐Pressed and Solvent‐Extracted Oils
Acylated steryl glucoside (39.5–52.2 %) was the major glycolipid in extracted niger seed oils. Phosphatidylcholine (49.6 and 47.9 %) was the major phospholipid in cold-pressed and hexane-extracted niger seed oils and phosphatidylethanolamine (57.1 %) was the major phospholipid in ethanol-extracted niger seed oil.
In this study, quality improvement of used niger seed oil using adsorbent treatment was evaluated. Each adsorbent was mixed with 20 h used niger seed oil (15% w/v) at 150 °C and stirred for 30 min. The oil was recovered through centrifugation at 4200 rpm for 15 min.
