Groundnut Oil Manufacturing Process With Flowchart
Step 1: Cleaning. After harvesting groundnut are received at processing facilities. Batches of harvested peanuts will contain whole peanuts in the shell, some shelled peanuts, and foreign objects (e.g., leaves, nodes, weed seed, etc.). The peanuts are then cleaned using cleaning machine so that oil is not contaminated with foreign materials.
Current Scenario : The Indian Peanut oil is mainly exported to China. This year China has purchased peanut oil (2% F.F.A.) in the range of USD 1750 to USD 2150 per M.T. Remarks : The prices of Peanut oil will remain on higher side due to higher MSP (INR, 63.77/KG = USD -770 PMT) and increasing demand in domestic market and exports due to

The annual revenues from oil production are expected to be US$1.5 billion to US$2 billion. The oil revenues have the potential to stimulate Uganda’s economic growth and real household incomes
Arachis hypogaea (L.), commonly known as groundnut or peanut, is an important oil, food and feed legume crop originally from South America (Hammons, 1994). It is a valuable food crop because of its high oil content (43-55%) and protein content (25-28%), and provides vitamins and minerals for millions of households (Reddy et al., 2003).

Peanut proteins: Extraction, modifications, and applications: A
The yield of free oil extracted from roasted peanut (150 °C, 20 min) using the AEP method was around 92.2% using the optimized processing conditions: solids-to-liquid ratio = 1:5; pH = 9; temperature = 60 °C, and time = 2 h [33]. Liu et al. (2020) investigated a combination of AEP and membrane separation for peanut protein extraction.
