Although Cameroon, the largest palm oil producer in Central Africa, produced more than 450,000 tons in 2020, it still imports about 60,000 tons a year to meet its domestic demand. Most of the imported palm oil comes from Indonesia, Malaysia and Gabon.

Troubleshooting the Deodoriser Unit in a Palm Oil Refinery
3.1 Qualitative and Quantitative Data Collection. The qualitative data are extracted to grasp the plant personnel experiences in identifying the possible faults of deodoriser failure. Fifteen experienced plant workers and an expert in a Malaysia palm oil refinery have been interviewed to gain the qualitative data.
