Add extract to the boiling oil in the ratio of 1:4 (i.e.1 part of oil to 4 parts of extract). Continue heating and stirring for about 45 minutes until the mixture begins to solidify. Remove from fire, allow to cool, dry and harden. Mould and cut into desired shapes and sizes. Package well in beautiful wrappers or well designed packs. BENISEED
B. EXTRACTION OF OIL FROM BENI SEED. The oil was extracted by cold solvent extraction. 1.5 kg of the Beniseed was weighed on an analytical weighing balance, pulverized to particle size of 850 µm using an industrial blender and soaked with 2 liters of n-hexane in a container for two days.

Literature materials exist on the use of this method for beniseed oil extraction [6, 7]. Maximum beniseed filtered oil recovery reported was 79.63% [7]. Oil separation by supercritical CO2 has also been exploited. Döker and co-workers [8] successfully extract beniseed oil using this method.
Oil, export diversification and economic growth in Sudan
Between 1999 and 2011, during the years when Sudan was still in control of the oil fields currently located in South Sudan, the economy grew rapidly at an average rate of 5.8%, higher than in the pre-oil extraction period beginning in the 1960s, when the growth rate was on average about 1% lower.
