The joint venture company is known as Tengizchevroil (TCO).

The Tengiz Project (Tengiz and Korolevskoye) conventional oil field recovered 44.01% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2026. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2052. The field currently accounts for approximately 39% of the country’s daily output.
Chevron holds a 50% interest in Tengizchevroil (TCO), which operates the two fields. Today, the fields’ yearly output could satisfy the annual oil demand of entire nations. Estimated oil in place in the Tengiz Field is 3.2 billion tonnes (25.5 billion barrels), with 200 million tonnes (1.6 billion barrels) in the Korolev Field.
