Cooking Oil Processing from Various Raw Materials
The production of cooking oil involves the utilization of diverse raw materials, including soybean, sunflower seed, peanut/groundnut, rapeseed, rice bran, cotton seed, corn germ, sesame, palm fruit, palm kernel, and more. These raw materials originate from various regions, each possessing unique characteristics.

Sesame-Soy Green Bean Sauté | For the Love of Cooking
Add the green beans, crushed red pepper flakes, and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until crisp-tender and vibrant green. Add the minced garlic, and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the soy sauce and stir to evenly coat the green beans. Sprinkle the tops with toasted sesame seeds.
Preheat the oven to 425ºF. Wash the green beans and break off the stems. Mince the garlic. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup, if desired. Add the green beans, minced garlic, cooking oil, and soy sauce to the baking sheet, then toss the beans until they are evenly coated in oil, soy sauce, and minced garlic.

Heat up 2 teaspoons of oil in a wok over medium to medium-high. Add garlic and ginger. Saute until fragrant. Add green beans next and spread it out. Let it sear, untouched, for a minute. Flip the beans over and do the same on the other side. Continue to stir-fry for 4-6 minutes, or until green beans are tender-crisp.

Heat the oils, soy sauce, and sugar slowly in a stir-fry pan. Add the green beans, onion, and garlic, and stir quickly to coat. Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
