Castor Oil Press Machine, Castor Oil Expeller
Castor oil press machine is used for pressing castor bean for oil. There are semi-automatic castor oil press and automatic castor oil press. The castor oil produced is used for industrial applications and the residual oil rate is 6-8%. Castor oil machine features convenient operation, easy maintenance, and stable performance.

Optimization of Process Parameters for Castor Oil Production
Abstract—Bean conditions, processing temperature and pressing time, solvent type and solvent-solid ratio were studied to optimize oil yield from castor beans. A maximum yield of 50.16% was obtained in this study. Moisture content of 3-3.6% was found compared to the range of 5-7% reported in literature.
Sourcing good quality castor beans → Clean the castor beans → Place beans in the cold press oil extractor → Cold pressing → Filter and store the cold-pressed castor oil. Start by choosing fresh, good quality castor beans. Make sure they don't have a lot of impurities or contaminants. Thoroughly clean and dry the castor beans to remove
Castor Oil Manufacturing Process, Oil Expeller
Here are the basic steps to extract the castor oil. Step 1: Castor Seed Dehulling. Step 2: Castor Seed Cleaning. Step 3: Castor Seed Cooking. Step 4: Castor Seed Pressing. Step 5: Castor Oil Clarification. Step 1: Castor Seed Dehulling. Castor seed contains about 30%–35% oil. The extraction process begins with the removal of the hull from the
Castor oil seed contains about 30%–50% oil (m/m). 74, 75 Castor oil can be extracted from castor beans by either mechanical pressing, solvent extraction, or a combination of pressing and extraction. 74 After harvesting, the seeds are allowed to dry so that the seed hull will split open, releasing the seed inside. The extraction process begins
Average oil yield per kilogram of castor beans measured
The low calorific value is 38775.363 KJ/Kg and the cetane index is 50. It has been observed that, for 1000 g of fat waste, it is possible to extract by cooking 507.807 g of oil, or an extraction
During the process of cator oil processing, these seeds must be crushed and pressed with hydraulic or continuous castor oil press at high or low temperature. High temperature hydraulic pressing yields 80 percent of available oil. Further castor oil processing can release much of the remaining oil. The seed must be hulled after harvesting.

Castor (Ricinus communis L.) is a very ancient oilseed crop cultivated because of the high oil content of the seeds, which ranges between 42 and 58%.The oil contains a high proportion (84–90%) of ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated hydroxy fatty acid with multiple industrial applications such as paints and varnishes, cosmetics, polymers, biolubricants and biofuels.
Under natural conditions, the average oil content in castor bean fluctuates between 42.0% and 49.0% [8] but reaches between 47.0% and 55.0% under Mediterranean conditions [3, 11, 12]. Sixteen
