IVORY COAST: Ivory Coast's largest palm oil refinery adopts
Ivory Coast's largest palm oil refinery, SANIA, has entered a deal with a Swedish firm to swap from using fossil fuels to biomass for its energy needs. The change is expected to curb the firm's yearly greenhouse gas emissions by 45,337 tonnes of carbon dioxide, similar to taking just over 8,200 passenger vehicles off the road for a year.
