How to Make Coconut Oil: A Step-by-Step Guide
Blending the Coconut Meat. After grating the coconut meat, transfer it to a blender or food processor. Add enough water to the blender to cover the coconut meat. Blend the mixture for about two to three minutes until it becomes a smooth and creamy consistency. Pour the blended mixture into a bowl.
Step One: Open the coconuts with a hammer or mallet. Then carefully use a knife to remove the coconut meat from the coconut shells. Step two: Use a food processor to shred the coconut meat.
