Eni Announces Oil Discovery Offshore Ivory Coast
March 8, 2024. Italian multinational energy company Eni has announced the discovery of light oil, gas and condensates in Block CI-205 offshore the Ivory Coast. Titled Calao, the discovery was made as part of Eni’s Murene 1X exploration well which involved drilling to a depth of 5,000m in water depths of around 2,200m.
