The main oilseed produced in the world is the soybean whereby it represents more than 50% of total oil crop
Production of vegetable oils in the world and in Egypt: an overview
Egypt's self-sufficiency of palatable vegetable oils during the 1960s was 95%, which declined to 31.6% in 2007 [34]. However, it is reported that sunflower growing in the central Egyptian province
Besides vegetable oils, other feedstocks for the production of hydroprocessed jet biofuels include lignocellulosic, algae, sewage sludge, used cooking oil and animal fats [20]. Such advantage of hydroprocessing is very appealing, because have a real impact over production and investment costs, two very important drawback factors.

TPC (total production cost) of algal diesel was calculated (Table 7), and the main feedstock, "algal biomass" and utilities (steam generation systems, air instruments, electrical distribution,
The schematic diagram of experimental set up is shown in Fig.1. The engine was warmed up before taking all readings. The measurements were recorded after the engine reached its stable condition. The engine was operated with regular diesel fuel (D100), catalytically cracked oil (B100) and blends of both of them.
Edible Plant Oil: Global Status, Health Issues, and Perspectives, PMC, National Center for Biotechnology Information
Introduction. Edible plant oil (EPO) is obtained from the seeds, pulps, fruits, and plumules of certain plants. As one of the three major energy resources for human life activities, EPO is majorly used in cooking, but also used in a small amount for cosmetics, health supplement capsules, and other purposes.
Palm oil has overtaken soybean oil as the most important vegetable oil in the world (Oil World, 2013). A chart showing the recent supply of vegetable oils in the world׳s market is shown in Fig. 1 . CPO is also called red palm oil because of its high content of carotenoids.
