The cleaned rapeseeds are fed in the kettle of the oil press machine to squeeze out oil from it. Rapeseed contains 40 – 45 % oil content. After a 2 stage pressing, about 6.5 – 7% oil is still present in the rapeseed cake which will be used as animal feed. The Cleaned rapeseed is conditioned using Steam in a Vertical Cooking Kettle.

APA – Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) – The head of the transitional government announced Friday that the country plans to increase its energy capacity. “Negotiations are continuing with the Islamic Republic of Iran for the construction of an oil refinery,” Prime Minister Apolinaire Kyelem told the members of the parliament.

A series of experiments in Tasmania examined the growth, development, yield and components of yield of new Australian oil-seed rape cultivars from Victoria and Western Australia. The highest yields obtained were around 5·5 t seed/ha, from an autumn sowing with supplementary irrigation.
