Senegal is making headway with its second large-scale gas project, the Yakaar-Teranga development offering recoverable resources of between 15 and 20 tcf. Currently, conceptual studies are underway for the development of the project through an onshore plant with capital expenditure for Phase 1 estimated at between $2 billion to $3 billion.
