Can mechanical pressing be used for rapeseed oil extraction?
The investigation of mechanical pressing for rapeseed oil extraction has been limited. In one study, a screw-pressing method achieved an extraction degree of 72% [ 16 ]. Another study using a ‘duo’ screw press demonstrated a higher extraction degree of 82.6% [ 17 ].
