Acid value measures free fatty acids produced as a result of triglyceride hydrolysis and is generally considered to be one of the main parameters to reflect the quality of oil, degree of refining, and the quality change during storage (Rao et al., 2009). Cameroon has natural gas reserves estimated to be 4.8 billion cubic feet. Much of this gas remains undeveloped.
